Hi, I'm Tara Wisecup!

I am a family, lifestyle newborn and birth photographer.

I have been lucky enough to serve this great country in the U.S. Air Force. I have a rich background in the Air Force, where I served as a medic for ten years. My experience in emergency medicine, urgent care, and family medicine, particularly on a labor and delivery floor for three years, ignited my passion for the birthing process. Having assisted in over 100 births, I have developed a keen eye for capturing special moments during this transformative experience.

I am married to my high school sweetheart, and together we have three energetic boys who inspired my photography. Our lively household provides me with great insights into capturing genuine emotions during family sessions.

Having moved frequently due to military life, I have lived in various places including Colorado, Germany, Las Vegas, NV, San Antonio, TX, and Santa Clarita, CA before settling in Warrenton, VA. In 2019, I transitioned from my military career to pursue photography full-time. A decision that was challenging, yet very rewarding.

I find great joy in creating lasting memories for families through my lens.
